Why my photos will make me look like a hipster.
I realized that my iPhone camera just wasn’t up to snuff a while ago. So, I finally picked up a Panny GF2 in June for an easy point-and-shoot solution. While the menu system is really annoying, the biggest problem is by far the kit zoom lens. It’s utter crap.
So, I picked up this neat little 16mm f1.9 c-mount Schneider-Kreuznach lens. It’s super soft and dreamy looking right out of the gates, and I’m finding that I do much less correction now. I just appreciate the shot for what it is and don’t futz with it.
Anyways, you might soon be wondering if I’ve joined the techno-hipster masses on Instagram. No. I haven’t. It’s just my lens… for now.
